Wow, my first update since early May. How exciting is this? I finally get to inform my three or so readers of the events of my life over the past two and a half months!
School ended with a bang. I tried to prepare myself for my two hardest finals and found that it was quite a waste of my time. Had I studied or not, there would be little, if any, difference. When I came home I was informed that my parents had decided to move south and were going to put the house for sale. In the meantime, I was trying to get ready to go to a prom and decide what to do with the rest of my life, now that I know that biology is not for me. Everything kinda crashed then.
First, I decided to go to community college for a year to get things together, raise my GPA, and decide on a major I'll actually like. Since I'm staying at home, my parents decided not to sell the house and to only go south for the winters, leaving the house in my care.
Second, I convinced the girl I liked to date me; we had a two month relationship that ended yesterday. The split was mutual as we decided it was for the best and to remain close friends.
I've taken two vacations; one to Virginia to see my brother and one to New York City with two of my best friends just for fun. The Virginia trip was awesome since I got to see relatives and the NYC trip was fun for obvious reasons...until I got that speeding ticket of course.
If not on vacation, I've been working the worst possible hours at Bed Bath & Beyond and hating it.
Well, that got real ugly. Let's brighten the mood.
I'm probably going to take another trip this summer. Most likely to Canada with some of the guys. I also have to get a new computer which is always fun. I'm also pumped about staying by myself for large portions of the winter.
Sorry for the brevity of this entry, but dinner will be ready soon and I must prepare for work. Until next time

Be grateful...
Even if it only would have affected where you stay in the summer, be WAAAAAAAAAAAY glad your parents aren't just packing up and moving. It's hell when you're this age and you have no friends to hang with in the summer without driving miles and miles and miles. Seriously.Anyway, good for you on deciding to go to Community College and straighten stuff out. You're a bright kid Joe, you'll figure out something good to do with yourself. Become an art critic. Or a judge on the Supreme Court. Or better yet, an astronaut. No, seriously, you should become a lawyer. Do it.
I'll shut up now.
